Week of 10/31 - 11/4
1- Search Brainy Quote and come up with two quotes one for and one against gun control. Bring to class, but don't show the others.

Get a feel for how rebuttals are handled by professional debaters by listening to the Craig/Carroll debate. This will take you about 20 minutes to listen to the first rebuttals each one gives. Craig starts around 48:35 to about 1:01. Carroll's first rebuttal runs from 1:01 to 1:11.

Pretend you're present at the debate and need to "flow the argument" in real time as Craig and Carroll present their ideas. Don't stop and rewind sections to take better notes. In a real debate you wouldn't have such an option.
